Make your everyday pictures something to be proud of. A beginner DSLR course for parents.
Are life's little moments passing you by? As much as you try to capture them with your DSLR camera, you just aren't getting the pictures you had hoped for when you bought it. I've been there!
Even though I had a history with photography, all of my knowledge was years old and based on film shooting. When my daughter was born, I decided to put to use that DSLR my husband had gifted me for our first anniversary. I quickly discovered that the auto mode wasn't going to give me the pictures I was hoping for. My journey to learning to shoot in manual mode was much longer than it needed to be. It was a "you don't know what you don't know" kind of situation and I basically made every mistake and searched for ways to fix them one at a time until I had a full understanding of how my camera worked.
Shooting in the automatic modes will never give you the pictures you crave! In this 3 week course, I've taken my years of experience and made an easy button for you to get a breadth of knowledge on DSLR photography all in one place. We will dive deep into understanding the exposure triangle, seeing light, and the basics of composition to start shooting in manual mode and using that camera to its fullest.
